Description

The ARP 135-5601 is a 4-bolt main stud kit designed for professional engine builders. Manufactured from 8740 chrome moly steel, these studs are rated at 200,000 PSI tensile strength, exceeding Grade 8 hardware. They feature rolled J-form threads that are significantly stronger than conventional threads.

The kit includes hardened, parallel-ground washers and aerospace-quality nuts. ARP recommends main studs over bolts for more accurate torque readings, easier engine assembly, and improved block thread life.
