Description

This ARP head stud kit is designed for Big Block Chevy engines with Dart Big Chief heads. It is made from premium grade 8740 alloy and proprietary ARP2000 alloy, heat-treated to 200,000 psi (8740) and 220,000 psi (ARP2000) for superior strength. Each stud is centerless ground and thread rolled after heat-treat for exceptional concentricity and 2000% better fatigue strength compared to studs threaded prior to heat-treat. This ensures consistent clamping force and helps prevent blown head gaskets for optimum engine sealing.
