ARP BBC Dart Big M 4-bolt Cast Iron Caps Main Stud Kit

The ARP 235-5601 BBC Main Stud Kit is a set of engine fasteners designed for 4-bolt main Dart Big M blocks with splayed cap bolts. Manufactured from 8740 Chromoly Steel, these studs are heat-treated in-house to a tensile strength of 190,000 PSI.

Using studs instead of bolts offers more accurate and consistent torque loading, easier engine assembly, and proper alignment. The J-form threads are rolled after heat-treating, resulting in fasteners that are significantly stronger than others. This kit also helps eliminate main cap walk and fretting, protects engine block threads, and improves block life.
