MIA's Description

ARP main stud kits are designed to eliminate main cap walk/fretting and protect the threads in the engine block. The studs are made from 8740 chromoly steel and heat-treated in-house to a 190,000 psi tensile-strength rating. The precision J-form threads are rolled after heat-treatment for increased strength. Kits include hardened parallel-ground washers and high-quality nuts.
