The Two Step Performance ARP Head Stud Kit is designed to enhance the performance and reliability of L15 Turbo Engines. Manufactured by ARP, this kit provides superior clamping force, ensuring the cylinder head remains securely in place even under high boost pressures, tested up to 40+ PSI. The studs are crafted from ARP2000 alloy steel, a material known for its high tensile strength and exceptional durability, capable of achieving a clamp load at 220,000 psi. The kit also includes custom Catpaw washers, textured to prevent slipping during installation, ARP nuts, and proprietary assembly lubricant. All components are made in the United States and trusted by thousands of Honda 1.5T owners. Installation is recommended to be performed by a professional mechanic to ensure proper torque settings and alignment for optimal performance and longevity. Detailed installation instructions, including the 1B1 method, are provided with the kit and available online.
