This standard kit is a direct bolt-on replacement for BMW part # 11127574303 and includes all necessary studs, washers, and nuts for installation.

The VAC Motorsports ARP Head Stud Kit is a custom-designed component for the BMW N54 3.0L engine, engineered in collaboration with ARP to offer superior reliability and performance. Constructed from ARP2000 material, these studs boast a tensile strength of 220,000 psi, making them suitable for high-boost applications exceeding 25 psi. This kit specifically addresses the needs of standard street-use and high-boost N54 owners who require a robust solution that won't fail over time, unlike some retro-fit kits. It comes complete with hardened, parallel-ground washers and aerospace-quality nuts. For the high-boost option, the kit includes fourteen 11mm ARP Head Studs, fourteen ARP Washers, and fourteen ARP Nuts. A crucial installation tip for this kit is the requirement to drill and tap the four 9mm holes in the engine block to 11mm. This modification ensures all block holes are compatible with the included 11mm studs, allowing for the full set of fourteen studs to be used. The recommended torque specification for all studs is to torque down in three equal steps to 95 ft lbs.
