ARP Head Stud Kit for Ford Modular 4.6L/5.4L

The ARP 156-4101 Pro Series head stud kit is engineered to enhance the strength and reliability of Ford Modular 4.6L and 5.4L engines. Manufactured from 8740 chromoly steel, these studs undergo a cold-forging process to ensure molecular integrity, followed by heat treatment prior to thread rolling and machining. This process results in fasteners that offer superior clamping force and durability. Each stud features a hex head style for ease of installation and maintenance, and the kit includes hardened parallel washers. These washers are crucial for distributing clamping force evenly across the cylinder head surface, which helps prevent leaks and potential cylinder head warping. The black oxide finish provides corrosion resistance. This kit is specifically designed for use with production 2V and 4V cylinder heads on 4.6L and 5.4L Ford Modular engines. However, it is important to note that this kit does not fit 2005+ 3V Cylinder Heads. The kit contains 20 studs. For optimal performance and longevity, professional installation is recommended, and proper torque specifications must be followed during installation.
