Description

This combo kit from Thoroughbred Diesel features ARP Head Studs and Mahle Black Diamond Head Gaskets, designed for 2003-2007 Ford Powerstroke 6.0L diesel trucks. The included ARP 250-4202 Head Studs are manufactured from proprietary ARP 2000 material, boasting a 220,000 psi tensile strength to ensure proper cylinder head clamping force and prevent lifting under increased combustion pressures. These studs feature threads rolled after heat-treat for optimal fatigue strength, centerless grinding for concentricity, and broached ends for easier installation and cylinder head removal. The Mahle Clevite 54579A Black Diamond Head Gaskets are constructed with five stainless steel layers and utilize patented integrated push rod locators. Each gasket is coated with a proprietary fluoroelastomer (rubber) to seal and impregnate into the mating component surface, reducing friction and preventing damage to aluminum engine components. This kit is compatible with 2006-2007 Ford F250, F350, F450, and F550 models.
