ARP Main Stud Kit

ARP studs are manufactured from premium grade 8740 alloy steel, a material rated significantly superior to many competitors. The studs undergo a heat treatment process to 200,000 psi and are subsequently thread-rolled. This post-treatment rolling process provides twenty times greater fatigue strength compared to studs threaded before heat treatment, a common shortcut with lower-quality fasteners. These components are manufactured in the U.S.A. and are designed to be 100% reusable. Installation of main studs requires align honing of the engine block.
