Description

The ARP 235-4514 is a cylinder head fastener kit designed for Big Block Chevy 454 and 502 engines. This kit features studs made from premium grade 8740 alloy and a proprietary ARP2000 alloy, heat-treated to 200,000 psi and 220,000 psi respectively. The studs are centerless ground for concentricity and thread-rolled after heat-treat for superior fatigue strength. This kit includes specially undercut studs to equalize stretch and compensate for head gasket compression, helping to prevent blown head gaskets and ensure optimal engine sealing.
