Overview

The ARP 145-4012 is a professional series cylinder head stud kit for Chrysler 383, 400, 413, 426, and 440 Wedge engines. It features a black oxide finish and 6-point hex nuts. The studs are constructed from premium grade 8740 chrome moly alloy, heat-treated to 200,000 psi, and centerless ground for exceptional straightness and concentricity.

These studs are thread-rolled after heat-treat, providing superior fatigue strength. The precise manufacturing tolerances ensure that gaskets and cylinder heads glide into position for perfect alignment, preventing issues associated with inferior head studs.
