Description

The ARP 190-4201 is a professional series cylinder head stud kit designed for Pontiac Ram Air 2 & 455 engines. These studs are crafted from premium grade 8740 chrome moly alloy and feature a black oxide finish with 12-point nuts. ARP's manufacturing process involves precise heat treatment and centerless grinding to ensure exceptional straightness and concentricity.

These studs are thread rolled after heat-treat, providing significantly increased fatigue strength compared to studs threaded before heat-treatment. This meticulous manufacturing process results in studs that allow for perfect alignment of gaskets and cylinder heads, preventing issues often found with inferior products.
