Description

The ARP Pro Series cylinder head stud kit (part # 204-4705) offers a significant upgrade for high-performance engine builds, particularly for Volkswagen VR6 engines. Constructed from 8740 chromoly steel, these studs are cold-forged to ensure exceptional molecular integrity and are heat-treated to a tensile strength of 190,000 psi. This robust construction provides superior clamping force and reliability under demanding conditions. The kit features undercut studs and 12-point nuts, along with hardened parallel washers designed for even load distribution and precise torque readings, crucial for maintaining head gasket seal integrity. This head stud kit is specifically engineered for VR6 engines. It is compatible with the following Volkswagen applications: 1992-1995 Corrado, 1997/1999-2003 Eurovan, 1995-1998/2000-2004 Golf, 1999/2005 Golf GTI, 1994-2004 Jetta, and 1993-2005 Passat. The package includes 20 studs.
