Description

ARP Pro Series head studs are made from premium grade 8740 alloy and proprietary ARP2000 alloy, heat-treated to 200,000 psi (8740) or 220,000 psi (ARP2000). They are centerless ground for concentricity and thread-rolled after heat-treat for 2000% better fatigue strength. Undercut studs (on shorter studs) equalize stretch for consistent clamping force, preventing blown head gaskets and ensuring optimum engine sealing. These studs are compatible with Chevy Small Block (SBC2-2 3/8" block) engines.
