The Artec Industries JK 1 TON APEX Rear Axle Swap Brackets provide a rugged solution to upgrade the rear axle of your Jeep Wrangler JK. Designed to enhance axle durability and suspension mounting points, these brackets improve vehicle capability for off-road and heavy-duty use. They are crafted from 1/4-inch and 3/16-inch mild steel using precision in-house CNC laser cutting and feature a reinforced truss design with a peaked top for superior rigidity and reduced weight. Dimpled holes add strength without extra mass, and the entire system contours perfectly to the differential. The brackets accommodate factory link, spring, anti-sway bar, and shock locations. Installation requires minimal welding (approximately 70% less than earlier models), reducing distortion and setup time. No drilling is necessary. The kit is intended for use with various 1-ton rear axles with 3.5" axle tubes, such as Superduty Sterling 10.5 and 10.25, AAM 10.5 14 bolt, or Ford 9.0" (or 10.0) axles. It's important to note that for Sterling axles, contact with the gas tank may occur, potentially requiring stretching the rear axle or using an aftermarket gas tank. This kit does not include parts for ABS sensors, and new wheels may be needed due to different bolt patterns with 1-ton axles. This product requires general welding and fabrication skills.
