The AS69RC RAM Billet K3 Transmission Clutch Drum is designed and manufactured by RevMax in Charlotte, NC, from a solid 1045 steel slug. The billet drum weighs 6.3 lbs, significantly lighter than the original 64+ lbs slug. This billet drum addresses common failure points of the factory drum, which is prone to fatigue, rapid failure due to inferior steel, ring grooving, flexing, and snap ring blowout. The RevMax drum is nearly 40% thicker in all areas, resisting flex and wear, and its steel material offers better resistance to ring grooving. It also features longer clutch splines and physical length, making it suitable as an OEM replacement or a mandatory upgrade for performance transmissions.
