The Schroth Racing Quickfit Harness offers a robust safety solution for vehicles that see both street and track use, providing a more secure restraint than standard factory belts without requiring a full race setup. It utilizes existing factory anchor points, which are tested to support a significant load, ensuring stability. This harness also leverages the vehicle's factory seat belt pre-tensioner system. This integration allows airbags to deploy as intended by the manufacturer for a buckled occupant. Unlike other aftermarket harnesses, the Quick Fit system ensures the car's safety systems recognize the occupant is restrained, promoting correct airbag deployment timing and force. When not in use, the harness can be completely removed, allowing for full use of the vehicle's interior for passengers or cargo. It is crucial to note that these harnesses are designed exclusively for use with stock seats that have undergone and passed a seat back strength test. The Quick Fit harnesses are not approved for use with any fixed-back or aftermarket seats. Furthermore, this specific harness is not compatible with HANS or any other head and neck restraint devices; the Quick Fit Pro version is recommended for users planning to employ such safety equipment. The Audi/VW versions are intended for older models and are not compatible with newer VW generations (MK6, MK7, MK8, etc.) or specific newer Audi models (S4/RS4, S5/RS5, TT/TTS/TTRS).
