This system utilizes a Monotube design, which separates oil and gas to provide superior heat dissipation, finer damping adjustments, and reduced aeration or cavitation compared to twin-tube designs, resulting in a more consistent and refined ride. Key features include simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment with 36 levels of damping control, allowing for precise tuning of the suspension to meet specific handling and comfort requirements. Pillow ball top mounts are incorporated for both front and rear applications (depending on the vehicle), maintaining the manufacturer's suspension geometry while providing a more direct connection between the driver and the road. These top mounts also facilitate camber adjustability directly at the coilover, eliminating the need for a separate camber kit. Ride height is managed through adjustable lower mounts, a design that allows for lowering the vehicle up to 3 inches from OEM levels without sacrificing suspension travel, a critical consideration for rally event regulations. The construction emphasizes durability and light weight, with many components, including mounts, crafted from 6061 billet aluminum. The steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc for enhanced rust resistance, and the valving is meticulously matched to the springs for optimal ride quality and reliability.
