Description

The Moss Motors Assembled Alloy Cylinder Head is designed as a direct replacement for MGB models manufactured between 1968 and 1980. This alloy cylinder head offers enhanced durability and performance. Key features of this cylinder head include 1.563-inch intake valves and EN214 stainless steel exhaust valves. It is also equipped with hardened valve seats and silicon-bronze guides for improved longevity and reliability. The head is pre-drilled to accommodate smog fittings, ensuring compatibility with emissions systems. This cylinder head is intended for MGB 1968-80 applications. Users may require specific manifold studs (#328-765) which are sold separately. For detailed installation and compatibility information, consult vehicle-specific documentation or a professional. Cross-referenced as part #451-816, this cylinder head is also compatible with MGA models. Some sources note it as an alternative to cast iron cylinder heads and mention it has provisions for fitting an air pump.
