The Ford Performance Parts M-6049-X306 is an assembled cylinder head constructed from cast aluminum, designed to improve engine efficiency and performance. This cylinder head features a 64cc combustion chamber volume, 178cc intake runners, and 62cc exhaust runners, with intake valve diameters of 1.940 inches. These heads are specifically noted as being designed for use with M-6049-X306//X307/Z304DA/Z304P and N351 cylinder heads, and are not designed for production 302/351W or M-6049-Y302/Y303/X302/X303/X304/X305 cylinder heads. They are also noted as a replacement for the discontinued M-6049-X306/M-6049-X307 cylinder heads.
