This cylinder head is designed with a thicker deck for increased strength and an improved design to resist cracking. It also boasts a superior port finish for enhanced flow and redesigned water passages for better thermal conductivity. The head includes hardened exhaust seats, CNC-machined guides and seats, and undergoes a 25-point quality check.

The EngineQuest EQ-CH156NLA is a fully assembled cylinder head engineered for Isuzu vehicles equipped with the 2.6L SOHC 4ZE1 engine. Its thicker deck provides greater strength, while an improved design specifically resists cracking, ensuring durability under demanding conditions. This cylinder head is meticulously assembled with 100% new OE-type components, including valves, seals, valve springs, and retainers (cam and lifters are not included in OHC assemblies). EngineQuest emphasizes superior performance through features like a superior port finish for increased flow, redesigned water passages for improved thermal conductivity, and a 3-angle valve finish. Each head also undergoes a rigorous 25-point quality check and includes hardened exhaust seats with CNC-machined guides and seats for precision and longevity. The EQ-CH156NLA is designed for Isuzu Amigo, Rodeo, and Trooper models manufactured between 1988 and 1992 with the 2.6L L4 engine.
