The Bosch 1465ZS0115 is a common rail pressure control valve. It features a fuel-cooled solenoid valve that modulates its opening via pulse width modulation at a 1 KHz frequency. When not activated, it maintains approximately 100 Bar of fuel pressure. Activation of the valve increases fuel pressure by reducing the valve opening, with the electromagnet aiding the internal spring.

This valve also functions as a mechanical pressure damper, smoothing pressure pulses from the radial piston pump. It is known by various names including MPROP, FCA, Injection Pressure Regulator, Fuel Pressure Regulator, Fuel Control Actuator, Measuring Unit, and Fuel Measurement Solenoid Valve.
