They offer more adjustability for both damping settings and ride height, and typically provide more consistent and predictable handling characteristics. Spring rates are adjustable, and the initial setup is based on extensive development and testing. Individual preferences can be fine-tuned by adjusting the rebound knob or altering the ride height. Rebound adjustment allows control over the return to extension of dampers, with 12 distinct positions.
