AST 2003-01/2015 Volkswagen TOURAN Lowering Springs - 30mm/30mm

The AST Suspension Lowering Springs (ASTLS-14-2597) are high-performance coil springs designed to enhance handling and aesthetics by reducing the ride height of the 2003-2015 Volkswagen Touran 2.0TDi (1T). These springs are manufactured from high tensile chromium-silicone wire, which is meticulously selected by AST engineers for its quality and consistency. The manufacturing process includes cold winding, heat treatment to enhance hardness, and shot peening to reduce internal stresses. For added durability and longevity, the springs are phosphate treated and powder-coated, ensuring they can withstand harsh driving conditions. Most applications feature progressive rates, which provide a balanced ride by combining comfort with improved stability during cornering and spirited driving. The springs are also EDC compatible (if applicable to the vehicle) and each spring is blocked and computer tested prior to shipping to minimize settling once installed. The kit includes only the lowering springs, which are a direct replacement for the factory units. They are suitable for street use and are TUV certified.
