The AST Suspension 5300 Series Coilovers are a 3-way adjustable motorsport suspension system for dedicated track enthusiasts. This system allows for separate adjustment of rebound and both low- and high-speed compression, each with a remote reservoir, offering precise tuning for various track conditions. The inverted strut design withstands heavy side loads and braking forces. Both front and rear dampers are monotube coilover designs, offering flexibility for adjusting spring rates. With 12 distinct rebound adjustment positions, drivers can fine-tune the return to extension of the dampers. Compression adjustment controls the suspension's inward movement, with separate adjustments for low-speed (gentle forces) and high-speed (rapid impacts) compression. This allows for balancing rebound and compression to reduce body roll, improve responsiveness, maintain tire contact for better traction, and fine-tune ride comfort. The kit includes camber-adjustable front top mounts and solid rear top mounts, where applicable, to allow for greater wheel adjustment and optimization of front-end grip.
