AST 5300 Series Coilovers Mercedes C-Class W204

The AST Suspension 5300 Series RAC-M5001S is a competition-grade 3-way adjustable coilover system designed for the 2007-2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG (W204). These shock absorbers feature 12 positions of rebound adjustment, 12 positions for high-speed compression, and 14 positions for low-speed compression, all independently adjustable via external canisters. The system is engineered for optimal track performance, balancing spring choice with damping characteristics. Key features include remote reservoirs for increased travel, heat dissipation, and oil/nitrogen gas capacity; inverted 4.5mm diameter shafts for enhanced strength and reduced geometry change during cornering and braking; aluminum threaded body shocks; new low-friction seals; and spherical lower eye shock mounts. The coilovers use synthetic hydraulic fluid and are fully serviceable, rebuildable, and revalveable for specific characteristics. Optional upgrades include DLC (diamond-like carbon) coated shafts and DDP (double digressive piston) pistons.
