The Borla ATAK Cat-Back Exhaust System is a stainless steel exhaust designed for 2018-2023 Fastback GT Mustangs with the factory Active Exhaust Option. It features 3-inch mandrel-bent tubing and 4-inch black chrome tips. The system offers an aggressive, race-inspired exhaust note with a straight-through muffler design to eliminate drone.

The Borla ATAK cat-back exhaust system (Part # 140743BC) is engineered for the 2018-2023 Ford Mustang GT, including Bullitt models with the 5.0L V8 engine and Active Valve Performance Exhaust. This system is crafted from premium T-304 stainless steel, offering superior durability and corrosion resistance compared to lesser grades. Featuring a 3-inch diameter with smooth mandrel bends, the system includes a Merge X-Pipe designed to increase performance and enhance the exhaust note. Borla's patented Polyphonic Harmonizer technology uses pipes of varying diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize into a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. This sound is then amplified by the ATAK mufflers to produce an aggressive, race-inspired tone with no interior drone. The system terminates with dual 4-inch round, rolled, angle-cut tips in a Black Chrome finish. Installation utilizes included adapters for connection to the stock exhaust system; however, Borla advises against using these adapters if a full 3-inch inlet is desired. The manufacturer explicitly states this system is NOT recommended for Convertible models. The company backs its systems with a Million-Mile Warranty.
