The Honda OEM Manual Transmission Fluid, part number 08798-9031, is the exact factory-formulated fluid for Honda and Acura manual transmissions. It is built to Honda's proprietary viscosity and additive specifications, ensuring optimal performance and protection for your vehicle's transmission. Using non-Honda MTF can potentially lead to notchy shifts, synchro wear, and bearing damage over time. It meets all Honda quality standards and is the fluid that originally came in your Honda from the factory. It is recommended to replace your transmission fluid at least every 30,000 miles in normal driving conditions. Each bottle contains 1 US quart (946ml) of fluid. While this fluid is specified for a wide range of Honda and Acura models with manual transmissions (including Civic, Integra, RSX, S2000, Accord, CR-V, and Element), it is crucial to always confirm your specific transmission code and model year against your owner's manual or a Honda dealer lookup before purchasing to ensure compatibility. A drain plug washer is not included and should be sourced separately if performing a full fluid change to ensure a leak-free seal.
