This fluid offers superior cleanliness, keeping the transmission free of sludge and varnish deposits, and advanced anti-wear technology provides maximum protection to gears and bearings. It also features excellent seal compatibility and conditioning, reducing the risk of leaks due to seal shrinkage, hardening, or cracking. This ATF is engineered for and meets the requirements of Honda Automatic Transmissions that specify DW-1 and Z-1 fluid types. It is compatible with a wide range of Honda and Acura models, including the 1994-2018 Honda Accord, 1996-2015 Honda Civic, and 2001-2014 Honda CR-V. Some online sources suggest it is an upgrade over the Honda DW-1 fluid at a bargain price, offering better shifting and cost-effectiveness.
