The Athena head gasket is a set of 5 gaskets designed to provide high sealing capacity and reliability for specific Harley-Davidson Sportster and Evo Big Twin engines. It is constructed from MotorGasket M0115, a material developed by Athena consisting of a central steel layer with asbestos-free aramid fibers, inorganic inserts, and NBR rubber binder. This material offers good resistance to mechanical and thermal stresses, and is resistant to oils, fuels, water-glycol mixtures, and corrosion.
