The AMSOIL Signature Series Fuel-Efficient 100% Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATL) is engineered to exceed the requirements of GM, Ford, and Toyota transmissions where a low-viscosity fluid is specified. It provides outstanding performance and protection, even in severe operating conditions, addressing the complexity of modern transmissions that demand greater efficiency and durability. This fluid is formulated with a high concentration of antioxidants for natural heat resistance and delivers exceptional cold-flow properties, maintaining performance in extreme temperatures. This advanced ATF is fortified with anti-wear and extreme-pressure agents to extend gear life, durable friction modifiers for smooth shifting and anti-shudder properties, and seal conditioners to minimize leaks. It also contains detergents, dispersants, and corrosion inhibitors to keep the transmission clean and protected. The high film strength ensures protection against wear damage, even under high stress. AMSOIL ATL is backward compatible and replaces DEXRON III fluids in older GM automatic transmissions. It is recommended for applications requiring GM DEXRON VI, Ford MERCON LV and SP, and Toyota WS fluid specifications. However, it is not for use with CVT or Ford Type F applications.
