Description

Introduced in 2018, the AFT-JP is a flat tow tailhousing designed for the Atlas transfer case. This innovative option incorporates a new rear output shaft connected to a gerotor pump assembly. The Atlas pan features a pickup screen that draws oil from the main case, channeling it into the tailhousing and down the output shaft to lubricate the bearings during both driving and flat towing operations. The tailhousing maintains the same length as the standard Atlas unit. It does not include a mechanical speedometer gear but provides an electronic pickup specifically for use with Jeep vehicles.
