Atmospheric Blow-Off Valve

The Forge Motorsport FMDVMK7A is an atmospheric blow-off valve engineered as a full replacement for OEM solenoid valves, designed to remedy failure issues such as diaphragm rupture. Constructed from aircraft quality T6061 billet aluminium with a serviceable piston-based internal design, it offers significantly improved reliability and a lightning-fast response. This valve integrates seamlessly with OEM electronics, ensuring no detriment to performance and preventing fault codes or check engine lights, a common issue with competing products. This blow-off valve is designed with a very short overall installed height, specifically to fit the tight space between the turbo and the air filter inlet hose. Older, larger valves and sandwich plates will not fit this engine configuration. It is proven to handle cars running over 600bhp (with an uprated spring kit). The FMDVMK7A offers improved throttle response and acceleration, is considerably lighter than stock, and provides good drivability. It helps maintain the turbocharger's rotational speed during gear changes, reducing turbo lag and taking strain away from the impeller, which can prevent premature turbo failure, especially in tuned or modified vehicles. The valve is also fully serviceable and rebuildable. This valve is compatible with a range of VAG 1.8 TSI/TFSI and 2.0 TSI/TFSI engines, including the 2013-on models, and specifically the Golf MK7 R. Specific fitments include the 2015-2018 Volkswagen GTI / Golf R MK7, Audi S3 2.0 TSi, and Audi A4 1.8 / 2.8 TFSI. The package includes the valve, wiring harness, solenoid, bracket, screws, an uprated blue spring, vacuum tubing, T-piece, cable ties, and instructions.
