The ATP B-171 automatic transmission filter kit is engineered to maintain the cleanliness of your transmission fluid, which is crucial for the proper functioning of internal components. Over time, automatic transmissions accumulate debris from normal wear. This debris can clog the valve body and other vital parts, leading to inoperability. Regularly replacing the transmission filter helps to prevent these issues, thereby extending the life of your transmission and avoiding potentially expensive repairs. This kit includes a transmission filter and a pan gasket with an OE-style molded rubber gasket. The filter itself has a length of 13.5 inches. The ATP B-171 is designed as a direct fit replacement, ensuring that improper fitment is not an issue for the compatible vehicles listed. This transmission filter kit is compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including the 1995-2005 Chevrolet Cavalier, 1995-2005 Pontiac Sunfire, 1997-2010 Chevrolet Malibu, and many Saturn, Oldsmobile, and Daewoo models from the late 1990s to the mid-2000s. It also fits select Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G6 models from 2005-2010, and Saturn Ion and Vue models from 2005-2010.
