The HyperGear ATR43 is an internally gated turbocharger engineered for road use, offering strong torque and linear power delivery. It is recommended for 6-cylinder, 2 to 3-liter inline engines. The ATR43 series comes in four distinct profiles, with horsepower ratings ranging from 400 HP up to 600 HP, allowing for customization to meet specific performance goals. The unit features a T3x flange and is available with various turbine housing options, including .58, .63, .82, and 1.06 A/R ratios, as well as different CHRA types like Journal or Ball Bearing. The base price typically includes a T3x internally gated turbine housing and a high-pressure actuator rated to 18psi. Options such as a ball bearing upgrade, various dump pipe configurations for specific engines like the Rb25det, and specialized assemblies are available. For optimal performance, HyperGear recommends specific configurations for popular engines; for example, an ATR43SAT with a T3 .63 rear housing and ball bearing upgrade is suggested for Rb25det engines, capable of producing around 300rwkws on Pump 98 or 340rwkws on E85. Similarly, for Rb20det engines, an ATR43G1 in a T3 .63 rear housing with a ball bearing upgrade is recommended for approximately 220rwkws on Pump 98 or 260rwkws on E85. Additional recommended components include an inline oil filter for ball bearing options and a manifold spacer when working with a stock Rb25det exhaust manifold. It is noted that an operational blow-off valve (BOV) is mandatory for this turbocharger. The leading time to build is up to 10 working days, and all turbochargers come with a 12-month unlimited KM warranty, though this voids under specific conditions such as installation faults or oil starvation.
