The ATS E4OD Stage 5 Transmission Package is designed to enhance the reliability and capability of the Ford E4OD transmission in 1989-1991 Ford F250 and F350 4WD trucks, especially when subjected to increased power from diesel engines. It includes a billet input shaft for increased reliability under heavy loads and modified power levels, and a lock-up controller for the torque converter to improve fuel economy and lower transmission operating temperatures. The package also features a billet flex plate for reliable power transfer in high horsepower/torque applications.
