The throttle valves (TV Valve) in a transmission's valve body control shift timing between gears through the constriction of hydraulic fluid. The TV valve also controls the line pressure required to clamp the clutch pack and band inside the transmission. This ATS Diesel valve body offers an innovative "Hydro-balanced Valve and Sleeve" design to prevent sticking issues and wear found in stock units. It provides a more aggressive line pressure slope for quality shifts and torque converter clutch engagement. Made with high-quality, hardened material for increased lifespan and reliability. It is designed for racing applications but can also be configured for towing.
