ATS Diesel 1999.5 - 2002 Dodge 4wd 47RE Stage 3 Transmission Package

The 47RE transmission is the weakest point on a Dodge Cummins truck. ATS modifies the transmission to make it the strongest and most reliable part of your drivetrain. It features increased clutch count in Overdrive and Overdrive Brake clutch packs, using Borg Warner and Raybestos clutches for high torque strength, longevity, and reliability. The factory sheet metal strut anchor is replaced with a stronger billet strut anchor, and the factory plastic accumulator piston is replaced with a billet unit. The apply lever is a 1:3.8 ratio, applying a Borg Warner red lining band with performance friction material. The valve body receives extensive modifications for 1st and 2nd gear torque converter lockup, fluid circulation in park/reverse/neutral, a proprietary TV valve sleeve, and increased line pressure. This towing version delivers smooth, quick, crisp shifts. This is an aggressive valve body, and a minimum of a billet input shaft and flex plate are recommended.
