ATS Diesel 2003 Dodge 4wd 48RE Stage 2 Transmission Package

The ATS Diesel 48Re Stage 2 Package is a comprehensive transmission upgrade for Dodge Cummins diesel trucks equipped with 48RE automatic transmissions. This package enhances durability and performance for heavy-duty towing, daily driving, and high-horsepower applications. It includes increased clutch counts in Forward, Overdrive, and Overdrive Brake clutch packs using Borg Warner and Raybestos clutches, a stronger billet strut anchor, and a billet accumulator piston. The 1:5.0 ratio apply lever works with a Borg Warner Red Lining performance band. The valve body is modified for 1st and 2nd gear torque converter lockup, fluid circulation in park/reverse/neutral, a proprietary TV valve sleeve, and increased line pressure. This towing version provides smooth, quick, and crisp shifts. It is recommended for use with a minimum of a billet input shaft and flex plate due to its aggressive nature.
