Description

The Curt 40198 is an ATV and lawn tractor hitch ball designed for towing. It features a 2-inch ball diameter and a 1-3/4 inch by 5/8 inch shank, making it compatible with most 2-inch trailer couplers and suitable for ATVs, UTVs, and lawn tractors.

Constructed from hot-forged steel, this hitch ball is built for strength and durability. It is rated to tow up to 2,000 lbs. GTW and has undergone testing to U.S. VESC V-5 specifications. The shank features fine threads for increased holding strength and requires 90 lb.-ft. of torque for secure installation, with a nut and lock washer included. A bright chrome-plated finish provides resistance to rust and corrosion.
