The Forge Motorsport Audi TT 225 Front Mount Intercooler Kit represents a significant upgrade over the stock intercooler, engineered to handle increased performance demands. Forge, a pioneer in this product category since 2014, has continuously refined the design for optimal cooling efficiency, utilizing extensive testing with various air cores. Developed on Solid Works CAD and rigorously flow tested, this intercooler minimizes pressure loss while maximizing heat dissipation. Its construction from aluminum and a 7.8-liter volume contribute to its substantial cooling capacity, with a frontal area of 1568cm² and tested to withstand 3 bar (43.51 psi). This kit is designed as a direct fit for the Audi TT225, specifically the 1.8T 210/225BHP Mk1 models (1998-2006), including those with the headlight cleaning option and both RHD and LHD configurations. It requires no cutting or modification of the bumper. All fitting hardware and installation instructions are included, making it a complete solution straight out of the box. The intercooler offers a performance benefit of +7 BHP and 8Nm of torque on a stock vehicle, and remapping the ECU after installation can yield further gains. The included Forge Silicon hoses feature a Flurosilicone inner liner, making them resistant to modern coolants (including O.A.T.) and oil mist, ensuring longevity and reliability. This product is designed, developed, and manufactured in Great Britain and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
