The BOSS Audio Systems BCPA9685RC is a double-DIN car multimedia receiver designed to enhance your driving experience with modern smartphone integration. It boasts a 6.75-inch capacitive touchscreen that provides easy access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features. Through these platforms, you can utilize voice controls via Siri or Google Assistant to access navigation (including Google Maps and Waze), manage calls, send messages, and play music from supported apps like Spotify and Pandora. This receiver does not include a CD/DVD player but offers versatile input options, including a USB port for music playback and charging, and an auxiliary input. Bluetooth technology is built-in for wireless hands-free calling and audio streaming. The BCPA9685RC also includes a rearview camera input, which can automatically lower audio volume when the vehicle is put into reverse for enhanced safety and visibility. Installation of this product is strongly encouraged to be done professionally to ensure proper and safe functionality. Additionally, to utilize your vehicle's existing steering wheel controls, an interface module is required and sold separately; the Metra ASWC-1 is recommended.
