The Kicker Audio Upgrade Kit, part number VSL3Z-18808-A, is a collaboration between Ford and KICKER designed to significantly enhance the audio experience in compatible Ford trucks. This kit includes an 8-inch dual voice coil, long-throw subwoofer and a 200-watt RMS amplifier. It leverages the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) built into the factory radio to deliver richer bass and improved mid and high-frequency response. The enclosure is specifically engineered for the F-150 and Super Duty Super Cab, Super Crew, and Crew Cab configurations. Its back wall of cab mounting design ensures the flat load floor is maintained and utilizes factory mounting points for a clean installation. The kit is compatible with specific radio codes (ICEHE) and speaker codes (IDBAL). This audio upgrade is intended for use with the stock audio system and may require dealer programming. Some sources indicate it may not be compatible with the Bang & Olufsen (B&O) sound system. The kit comes with a 2-year/unlimited miles manufacturer warranty.
