Overview

The ATS Diesel Aurora 3000 VFR Stage 1 Turbo is a replacement turbocharger designed for the 2007-2012 Dodge RAM 2500/3500 with a 6.7L Cummins engine. It features billet 316 stainless steel unison rings, an HSM bearing and turbine housing, and updated, modern solid-state electronics for reliability.

This turbocharger enhances engine airflow for improved combustion and efficiency, resulting in a noticeable boost in horsepower and higher RPMs. The robust construction includes a powder-coated compressor housing to withstand high-temperature environments.

The ATS Aurora VFR VGT 3000 Turbocharger is a variable geometry, factory replacement turbo designed for 2007.5-2012 RAM 6.7L Cummins trucks. This emissions-legal unit offers a significant upgrade over the stock turbo, featuring a 60mm 7x7 SlimHub billet wheel for the Stage 1 configuration. It is engineered with billet 316 stainless steel unison rings, which prevent stuck or warped vanes, ensuring consistent performance throughout the turbo's lifespan, regardless of driving style. This turbocharger assembly comes pre-calibrated and ready for installation, requiring no programming or deletes. It maintains all original factory functions, such as exhaust braking, warm-up capabilities, and quick spool characteristics. The unit is designed to be 100% maintenance-free, eliminating the need for actuator cleaning intervals. It utilizes an ATS HSM bearing housing and high-speed floating journal bearings for enhanced durability and performance, along with an ATS HSM turbine housing that is high-temperature ceramic-coated and a powder-coated compressor housing. The Aurora VFR VGT 3000 is backed by a 3-year warranty on the turbocharger itself and a 1-year warranty on the actuator and electronics. An installation kit, including a flange gasket, banjo bolt O-rings, and an oil return gasket, is included with the turbocharger.
