The Translogic Blip Assist ECU (TLS-BA4.1-R1-ECU) is a sophisticated electronic control unit designed to enhance the performance of compatible Translogic quickshifter systems, including Intellishift DCS, QSXi, QSX, and Powershift systems. This plug-and-play ECU directly interfaces with the motorcycle's throttle body connectors. During downshifts, the Blip Assist ECU receives a signal from a Translogic DCS sensor or Powershifter ECU and executes a controlled throttle blip, tailored to the current riding conditions. A new feature includes a pit lane warm-up function, easily activated via a handlebar-mounted button with gold-plated contacts for reliable operation. This system is fully adjustable and adaptive, allowing users to fine-tune the strength and duration of the throttle blip, adjust sensor trigger force, and modify blip intensity across five different RPM bands using Translogic's Pro-Tuner-Mode, without needing a PC. It comes with default settings derived from extensive real-world testing by Translogic Systems and its professional partners. **Important Installation and Compatibility Notes:** The Blip Assist ECUs (TLS-BA4-R1-ECU and TLS-BA4-R6-ECU) require a Translogic Intellishift DCS, QSXi, QSX DCS Quickshifter system, or a Powershifter PSR-PRO+ system to be already installed, as they are supplementary units and cannot function independently. For models that are not specifically mentioned, it is crucial to review all product details and ensure compatibility before installation. Installation requires a trained and professional technician using a Dyno facility. Additionally, motorcycles with a flashed ECU should have the flash reverted to OEM quickshifter settings to prevent performance issues or potential problems.
