The Team Z Motorsports Auto Cross K-Member is a chassis fabrication material designed for 1979-1993 Mustangs. It features revised A-Arm geometry and rack location for bump steer avoidance, and is built from heavy wall DOM tube with double gusseted motor mount pads and triangulated side stiffeners. The K-member includes extra thick A-Arm tabs and is MIG welded for quality. It comes standard with a silver hammertone powdercoat finish and is made, assembled, and quality checked in Detroit, Michigan.

The Team Z Motorsports Auto Cross K-Member is engineered to enhance the performance and agility of 1979-1993 Ford Mustangs. Constructed from heavy wall DOM tubing and a combination of 4130 Chromoly and 1018 steel, this K-member is designed for strength and reduced weight. It features double gusseted motor mount pads, triangulated side stiffeners, and extra thick 1/4" laser-cut A-Arm tabs. The revised A-Arm geometry and rack location are specifically implemented to avoid bump steer, while the centered dropped rack mount provides extra pan clearance for deeper oil pans. Each K-member is meticulously MIG welded in-house to ensure superior quality and durability. This product is proudly made, assembled, and quality checked in Detroit, Michigan. Important considerations for installation include the fact that this K-member does not include a hardware kit, which must be purchased separately. For those opting for solid motor mounts, it is crucial to use only Team Z Solid Motor Mounts, as other manufacturers' mounts will not work. Additionally, this K-member may be ordered with tie-down tabs.
