The Pioneer CD-MC20 is an Auto-EQ microphone designed for use with select 2010 and later Pioneer DVD, digital media, and navigation in-dash receivers. It connects to the auxiliary input of compatible units to measure your vehicle's interior acoustics and automatically generate an optimal equalizer curve.

The Pioneer CD-MC20 is an Auto-EQ microphone engineered to calibrate the audio performance of your in-car entertainment system. By measuring your vehicle's specific acoustic characteristics, it allows compatible Pioneer receivers to create a custom auto-equalizer curve, ensuring balanced sound throughout the cabin. The microphone features a 6.5-foot cord with a standard 3.5mm male connector that plugs directly into the auxiliary input of supported Pioneer head units. For accurate calibration, the unit should be positioned in the center of the driver's seat headrest, facing forward. This microphone is compatible with a wide range of Pioneer series manufactured from 2010 onward, including the NEX, AVH-X, SPH-DA (AppRadio), AVIC-Z, AVH-P, and MVH-P series. Please ensure your specific head unit model features the Auto-EQ function and an available auxiliary input to support this calibration tool.
