Description

The Dayco 89265 is an automatic belt tensioner designed for optimal performance and durability. It features Dayco's original, patented flat spring design, which minimizes operating range variation. This reduces the risk of premature accessory bearing failure due to excessive tension and lessens the likelihood of belt noise, slippage, or poor performance from insufficient tension. The tensioner also includes a PTFE string within the spring to resist abrasion and dampen noise. Its construction includes a heavy-duty cast aluminum spring case and arm for strength and resistance to cracking and fatigue.
