Description

The Hays 40-518 is an SFI Certified flexplate designed for Mopar Gen III Hemi engines. It connects these engines to 727, 904, A500, or A518 transmissions without requiring a crankshaft spacer, allowing for the use of a stock-type torque converter with an attached ring gear.

The flexplate is constructed from 0.105-inch thick Grade 80 steel for enhanced strength and durability, capable of handling high stall torque converters and high horsepower applications. It features a zinc-dichromate plated finish for corrosion resistance and meets SFI specification 29.1.
