The Autolite APP5684 is a double platinum spark plug designed for enhanced durability and performance in distributor-less ignition system (DIS) engines. It features a platinum-to-platinum design to minimize gap erosion and reduce misfires, leading to a longer service life than copper or standard platinum plugs. The yttrium-enhanced ground electrode improves heat transfer for greater durability under demanding conditions.
